I know...You know, I have to totally agree with you! I know that many of my old books written a hundred years ago (more or less) that I have sitting on my shelves, used the Roman Numeral system for the front pages that you mentioned. I'd like to see publishers return to that format. <br /><br />And hey, I don't know how you happened to stumble on my book, The Other Daughter, as an example, but I'm tickled it was mentioned, even if the numbering does irritate you! I might even mention it to my editor for the upcoming sequel, Finding Jeena.
