You don't do that much heinous stuff in life before you're in the double digits...I mean, pushing my neighbor Lynnie-Pie over the back fence was about the most terrible thing I ever did.

Then I thought about the times in which I came of age, and reconsidered. If I'd grown up unsaved during the late 60s and early 70s, I wouldn't have a testimony to offer. I would be dead.

God does work all things together for good. I don't see my early salvation as a disadvantage anymore.Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13100565897627429788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8275104442398599121.post-39854763425746171842009-06-02T13:13:21.235-05:002009-06-02T13:13:21.235-05:00I'm in a similar boat with the testimony. I was saved when I was 15, and the only change in my life was my relationship with Him.

I hadn't amassed any crazy drug induced stories.

But as powerful as those stories can be, I think the extra years you spent with God, coupled with the lack of heartache that comes from sin, is just as powerful.

Great post. I'm...Timothy, thank you for sharing your testimony. I'm always fascinated to know where people were or what age they were or just what was going through their minds when they chose to begin that relationship with Jesus. I used to think my testimony was nothing big either but now realize how something seemingly so simple can really influence someone. Have a great day!Cindy R.
